Question for new players

Is this game still appealing to new players or does it just seem too daunting?

I've been playing since around the first THOH event. In the last year or so I really paid attention to farming and growing my xp bonus to the point where I'm getting well over 100 donuts/day and I'm able to pick up every new premium item as well as any returning items that I might have missed out on the first time around.

With that being said, there's still over 1200 donuts worth of items that I don't have that will be showing up between now and the end of the event. For a new player, I have to imagine that a boatload of donuts/event is even enough to support getting all the premium items.

Therefore I wonder if this game is more fun than frustrating for new users.

    I just started a few new towns. I thought it would be daunting but it was not. That said I do have the advantage of knowing how to play the game that a new person would not.

    I can still remember under the old tsto format, I couldn't see the future at all. Based on the bonus level up and donuts from visiting friends, I can see myself a very old man before I could earn enough donuts to buy more premium stuff. Anytime there is a fault where I think one donut was not credited from friends visit, I would be upset.

    When I lost a few millions during blood mobile harvesting when the game crashed, I will go cold as it took a long time to earn them back. I just continued to play without thinking so much and focus on raising cash and mulitpliers.

    Things got better when they changed the format. I think the new players wouldn't feel that terrible as compared to the early players

    I feel that it's far easier to obtain donuts now than it was in the early years of the game, these days there are many more ways to obtain donuts in the game than there was, EA does seem to be much more generous with them now and since the introduction of the Vault with the rebate system it is even better value for the newer players.
