- Ooooooooookay, I understand now. Stuff like this would be a perfect fit in the Tips thread.
As a side note wife and I call you the Tap Out Gang. - Well here is what I know about the Daily Challenges.
1. You get one new challenge at 1 a.m. PST each day.
2. You can have up to 3 challenges at a time. You can store daily challenges in the lead up to events.
3. By pushing the x in the upper right corner of a task you can exchange it for a new random task once every 24 hours. This is 24 hours from the last time you exchanged a task.
4. During Big Events you can get whatever currency the event is using for the daily challenges.
5. When not in Big Events you can get money, Springfield Heights Currency (Furniture, yoga mats, coffee, etc...), and donuts from the challenges. A lot of people exchange daily challenges to try to get new ones that offer donuts.
Things I can not confirm is whether or not they still do crafting currency for Daily Challenges during events. I don't remember the last time I saw them actually do that. As for exchanging a task after it's completed I am not sure about that either. I will try to check that out tomorrow. - In the past, they have issued crafting currency for daily challenges. They're not doing it during this event.

He's right, it's there, easily found.
So much good advice and helpful tips in that thread.
Is this what you’re referring to?
“You can 'skip' one challenge per day by tapping the X in the top corner.”
Im not being critical of the tips section when I explain why this wouldn’t help me. Well, for one thing everyone says “swap” not “skip” so when I searched for the keyword swap I never found it.
For someone with an understanding of the game I can see how this would be helpful, but to a fresh noob (such as myself) it’s so brief it’s meaning is lost.
It doesn’t explain when to skip; before or after the challenge is complete. Or why someone would want to skip the challenge. What happens if someone does skip? Are they guaranteed a better reward, the same reward, or is there a risk of a penalty?
Tapping which X? The top, right corner of what? Yes there’s an X in the border around the potential reward, but is that the X I’m looking for, because all the other X’s have actually been in the very top right corner of the store menus.
As you can see, newcomers would struggle with this, but the positive side of this is I get to meet more friends on the forum.- I don't believe that most newcomers will struggle with it. There really haven't been this many questions about it until you came around. If you need to ask questions that is fine, but I think for most people the guide is more than sufficient. If everything was so detailed it would be an even longer read.
- The key to successful communication is to be understood. There's nothing wrong with something being a longer read when it's useful information.
As for me being the only one not understanding the tip, that would be incorrect. Yesterday I saw someone else equally confused about swapping the daily challenge.
The only reason I brought it up was to offer suggestions how the Tips can be improved, but it sounds like nobody's interested in doing that. No big deal. - Sorry... it must be some UK English V American English thing, I have been using the word 'swap' as that's what seems natural to me, as to me, to skip something means to miss it out altogether whereas in this scenario, it feels like you're swapping one daily task for another... so apologies for any confusion caused on my part...

Ha! Your feeble pleas for mercy only fuel my mocking laughter!
LOL! Sorry Dougie, I couldn't resist a moment of evil drama.
It's very kind of you to offer an explanation and apologize, but honestly, it's fine. My wife is imported from the UK, but we haven't encountered a communication gap regarding swap and skip yet.
I've had the genuine pleasure to visit the UK and love it there."beastlymm;c-1766187" wrote:

I never said it was, I only said it might,(Edit, I was supposed to have said might but have typed must.. oh....) but nevertheless still decided I would take the opportunity to explain myself anyway... mind you, the UK version of 'swap' is 'swop' so maybe that's why it's not been issue between you and your wife...
