Swapping out lower paying (200 wand) tasks in hopes of obtaining a higher paying one is a good idea, really there's no downside, only a possibility of increased payout.
I don't know. Giving up 200 wands and having to re-do the entire daily challenge, which will take several hours, when the one I swapped for was also 200 wands feels a lot like a downside to me. lol
You swap them before you start the daily challenge, not after.
I didn't think it was even possibly to swap out afterwards
If I recall correctly, if you finish a challenge and you haven't swapped yet you can still do so as long as you haven't collected your reward. If I'm mistaken, anyone please feel free to correct me.
That's the way I remember it. - Even when swapp

Unless you're up against an act deadline, and and you're short on event currency, there's more than enough time to complete dailies.
Even multiple dailies can easily be completed within a day.
And yes, you should review, and swap prior to completing some portion of the daily tasks, but you can do so later, if necessary unless your up against a deadline such as an act or event ending. - Let me see if I have this right
The moment to swap is after the daily challenge is active, but before you've completed it.
Is that right? - It's the first thing I check and do. Usually pops up, but if not, easy to check. For me. First thing in the morning.

Right. The first time you log on for the day the daily challenge box will pop up on your screen. When it does, check the payout. If it's not what you want, swap it. Then proceed to fulfill the requirements of the challenge.- And there's nothing wrong with leaving one you've swapped out unless you're really close, and the act, or event is about to end (like, within a day or so). There's always a percentage chnce of higher (3 times) payout.

yes, but no. lol I apologize for not being smrt, uh... smArt.
So, you're saying 'swapping' really means 'reset' and hope the reward for the new challenge is better than the one you just threw away?
For example, my challenge shows up at 1am. I can swap it at that time. Sometime between 3pm and 5pm the swap button resets, so I can change it out again. The next day I won't see the swap until the afternoon, so I could only swap once. You always swap hoping for better, but it doesn't always work out that way.- Well here is what I know about the Daily Challenges.
1. You get one new challenge at 1 a.m. PST each day.
2. You can have up to 3 challenges at a time. You can store daily challenges in the lead up to events.
3. By pushing the x in the upper right corner of a task you can exchange it for a new random task once every 24 hours. This is 24 hours from the last time you exchanged a task.
4. During Big Events you can get whatever currency the event is using for the daily challenges.
5. When not in Big Events you can get money, Springfield Heights Currency (Furniture, yoga mats, coffee, etc...), and donuts from the challenges. A lot of people exchange daily challenges to try to get new ones that offer donuts.
Things I can not confirm is whether or not they still do crafting currency for Daily Challenges during events. I don't remember the last time I saw them actually do that. As for exchanging a task after it's completed I am not sure about that either. I will try to check that out tomorrow. - In the past, they have issued crafting currency for daily challenges. They're not doing it during this event.
