I gave up with using lots of characters to do the railyard tasks some time ago but as I've got the Slurry Plant I continue to collect from that every 4hr and since the update to how the Railyard works I still get some track and donuts every week without any real effort.
Same here. It probably takes me about two weeks to collect from the slurry plant enough times to earn the donuts but that recycle grind was too much
In all honesty I've never really checked how long it takes to get the donuts but It's just so easy to do it this way, it's not like I need the track anyway.
