Random Tasks?
you can ignore them if you wish. If your character has noting else to do then the game will pay extra cash and XP for doing what they ask.

- You will always get a random task pop up, it's very rare not to have at least one especially when you have completed all your tasks in any questline.
During one questline yesterday I had three random tasks pop up, Milhouse fly the kite, grandpa telling war stories and Fat Tony digging a problem. - My task book is empty at the moment so i put all my characters on 24 hr jobs, if a random speech bubble pops up i just leave the character until i have finished assigning the jobs hit the millhouse/bart button then go back to my town and the speech bubble will be gone to put him/her on a 24hr task.
Theres nothing worse than all your characters on 24 hr jobs at the same time and 1 gets hit with a shop at the KEM task - I had been getting the random tasks before Halloween, but now I don't get them anymore.
I think it's because I've left a couple questlines incomplete for awhile now with Skinner and Agnes perpetually tied up on the open air stage. 8) Maybe I will free them soon and let Hans pick up the slack. - I only have 1 quest going right now. I have been getting random ones. Some of them are only 1 hour. Kind of annoying! I guess they don't like it when there are no tasks being done.
