Reason why Mapple Store is gone from premium items

i really cant believe that is the reason.. once mapple is a computer store, made by Matt Groening and his team. Otherwise, they should remove homer´s "mypad" task.

Cool brown house dont have anything that competes with android and apple and was removed too..

some itens are there for limited time. I really dont think that some android user could complain about mapple is looking like apple.

Cool Brown House was a give away. The Mapple store was a pseudo-premium item. Cost donuts; but didn't have premium payout.

And I doubt Google demanded the removal of the Mapple Store for competitive reasons. If that was the case, it would have been gone before the droid rollout; and quite possibly never release to us.

The Funzos and Try N Save are both still there. It is only the Mapple store that was removed, which is strange. It was still there after the update.

How much where the charging for the mapple store?

While "Mapple" is a parody to Apple, it doesn't make sense that Android users wouldn't have access to it for this reason. If this were true, the myPad task of Homer's would have to be changed, along with the myPad questline. I doubt Google would have thrown a tantrum and demand EA drop the Mapple store, and if they had I'm sure that hissy fit would have included changing myPad to anPad or something Androidesque.. I don't really see EA losing potential players due to the Mapple store, although some hardcore Apple-haters out there may refuse to buy the thing, big whoop.

It's weird and doesn't make much sense, but the Android version is still new so a lot of things about it are going to be weird and not make much sense (no origin access, for example) until EA figures out what they are doing with that version of the game.

Really Really want this, so unfair the only way to get it is to hack. I'm not hacking after buying soo many EA Donuts but its pretty bad the only way to get it is to hack the game.

If I could give you mine, I would :) Building looks cool but the animation is weak. Also, even though it's probably unlikely, you never know, they could bring back the seasonal items, and since it was originally part of the Christmas update, who knows. I'm of the mind set that there's going to come a day when they will bring back everything, they could make so much more money doing so, seems a bit foolish not to, considering the market for the old items.

I just hope it's not true about the Android reason.....

I might be crazy. But I don't recall seeing the mapple store available after the christmas event ended. While I do remember seeing the Funzo's available for donut purchases.

It was, but only for about a month or less. They removed that and the Try N Save I think right before the Android release.
