Redesign and preparing for the update
There's no guarantee we are getting a content update on the 10th. I know it is the end of the Santa Coins promotion, but maybe nothing else. I don't know. EA isn't real clear.

Sounds like you need a town square. For speeches and snowmobiling! This one used to be in the middle but with an ever growing town this tend to shift. Its not that tricky to find the actual centre, but then if you place it there you will have to wait to get all land before its your opening scene, and by the time you get there you probably changed your mind and rearranged everything again (a few times).
