Rich Texan vs Vegas Wives?

Vegas Wives give you 2 separate premium characters at that price. They don't earn event currency but after the event is over, you'll have either 1 more premium characters or 2.
  • I'd go for the wives just because they are promotional and two separate characters, Texan can be bought anytime, yes he does produce chips but if you did act 1 without him and managed to get all prizes without a problem then you won't really need him for 2 or 3. The wives also give you players club points. Entirely up to you tho, hope you are happy with whichever purchase you make. :)
  • Vegas wives! They are part of the event so who knows when they would be purchasable again.

Rich Texan can be bought anytime
  • I also think that you should get Vegas wives.

I think the rich Texan was also offered during one of the rebate 'sales'? Which always puts me off as I figure I may as well hold out for the next offer just in case.

    +1
  • Hey neighbor! I just checked your town, and you are way ahead of where you need to be to complete this act. So, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the 110 coins and 1 token every 4 hours with the Rich Texan won't make that huge of a deal for you (maybe a few bonuts or so?).

I have both, and I think the Rich Texan is great -- but he won't provide any additional benefit to your town after this event. Now, the Vegas Wives don't produce event currency, but for (I think it was) 35 extra donuts, you get TWO premium characters instead of one. Also, the girls have some fun visual tasks, and as others have said, who knows when you'll get a chance to buy them again.

My vote: go with the Vegas Wives! Let us know what you pick!
  • Rich Texan is also a pretty well known character from the show, and has great dialogue and visual tasks.

Do the wives create any event currency?

    Which is the better buy?

The fact that the Rich Texan is voiced is a big plus in my book. And as a well-known and longstanding character, he gets involved in other quest lines from time to time, so I have no doubt he'll be used again in a future event.

Personally, I hate premium characters that aren't voiced, but I actually have no idea if the Vegas Wives are voiced or not.
