- I am at the highest level and it drops for me sometimes also.
- Once in a while I lose half a star every half hour or so. Sometimes days go by and I don't lose any stars. It really makes no sense. I wish EA would look into these problems, as I am one of many people who have invested money into this game.
- I agree with the other posters. If there is some underlying pattern or rationale for the way this rating falls and rises, it's beyond my ability to understand.
- I thought that my recent drop from 5 to .5/1 was due to Kang floating around the entire time? Have you guys shot him down and still had that issue?

No, I'm afraid the rating fluctuations have nothing to do with Kang.- EDIT: okay this is the order of actions for the possible righteousness rating fix.
This is supposed to fix your righteousness rating. I think this will work for the people whose rating drops down to zero for no reason, not 100% sure if it works for unusually low ratings (1 star).
1. Visit a friend with a Springfield Elementary that has already been vandalized.
2. Collect by clicking the "Mop Bucket" icon. No reward will appear. do not collect from any other building.
3. Exit friends town, Return to friend's map screen.
4. Select another friends town, this time with a Springfield Elementary that has not been vandalized yet.
5. click the spray paint can to vandalize the building.
6. return to your springfield
7. Repeat if and when necessary
It also says do NOT capture side show bob. This will throw your rating back down to zero.
I'm not sure if this still works since its a somewhat old fix, but its worth a shot sonny1618 wrote:
Ooh, just a quick thought in this area: what happens when you actually clean up a friend's spray-painted building? Do they still get the money? I've often wondered whether I should do it or not.
I do it occasionally since it boosts your own rating. But I've mopped, exited friends town, then reentered their town and the mop bucket reappeared. Not sure if thats an accurate way to tell if they still get the money though.xrobotlove wrote:

Yeah, this is a fix for a old instantiation of the righteousness bug that plagued users of the original version of the game. If I recall correctly, for some players, when the righteousness level dropped to zero, tapping buildings or characters with completed tasks netted $0 and 0 XPs.krustybrand wrote:

Ohh... Yeah you're right, I checked the page I got this from and that's what it says.
For normal righteousness rating problems, vandalizing 5-6 buildings should boost it back to 5 though right? Or is that not working for you guys?xrobotlove wrote:

I'm not 100% confident in saying this, but at least in the past when I bothered to check, vandalizing someone else's Springfield neither helped nor hurt my righteousness rating. On the other hand, cleaning up graffiti, either in my own or in someone else's town, has helped, and the numbers you mention (5-6 buildings) seem about right.
