Roads and pavement moved/changed/disappeared?

If you use the area select tool to move objects to a place blocked by roads it will delete parts of the roads that are blocking it if you confirm it.

That was honestly the first thing I thought too. I've also heard of this happening when the monorail track is near a certain item (there is no general consensus of a particular item being the cause - seems to vary from game to game - but one that comes to mind is the golden brick wall from SH) or when the Side Show Bob rakes have somehow ended up under a building.

But I'm sure there must be other things causing this too because I also know people who have completely removed the monorail and the problem has persisted - so that suggests that different things can do it too.

I noticed it first when I placed the ice rink I got from a present. I haven't really done any other reorganization of my Springfield. Is my only option to fix it myself, or is it possible for ea to back my game up? I know I would lose some prizes from the event, but the thought of having to take this task on is giving me a panic attack! Not that anything I've gotten besides the ice rink is very cool anyways.

Ea can track back town but you 'll lose progress.

Meh, this event has had quite an uneventful conclusion, so I'm going to maybe take a break till ea tracks me back. Every time I go to my Springfield my OCD and anxiety go through the roof. I suppose I'll go gamble away my virtual money on gin rummy for a while.
