My game slowness started with the race track. I read the forums and disabled a section of the track. Game play was much better but still shows a staggered lag. Lately, with the Zoominator, game lag got even worse, couldn't even scroll the screen. Again, disabled a section of the Zoominator and game play is better. Here is my gripe, I have a pretty brand new Kindle Fire HD, less than 6 months old and is what I use to play my games. My cell phone, a 2-3 yr old Motorola Android Droid, plays the game perfectly without having to disable any of the items. I'm not very techno-savvy, but how does my cell phone have a better capacity than a tablet? This is in response to those people swearing the game lag is caused by 'older' devices. Also, I'm old and trying to squint to see the little itty bitty things on my cell phone screen is hard, that's why I prefer a tablet.
Maybe need to compare specs to specs? Processors, memory, etc- Droid vs fire. Your droid has a much faster Processor. 2.7GHZ vs 1.3GHz. Also think the phone has more RAM then that Fire HD.
The amazon tablet, even being newer are not faster then older phones. - frosted1414Seasoned NewcomerTSTO likes lots of ram.

Game is almost unplayable on my Asus tablet. Tried separating track. It helped, but is still super laggy! Been playing for about 5 years, spent over $100 on it and this is worst I have seen it. Fix this please!
If you have been playing for 5 years on the same Asus tablet, I'm fairly certain that is your problem. I replaced my 4 year old Samsung tablet late last year and it made a huge difference!
The Asus tablet is less than 3 years old. The problem began with this latest episode. Didn't have a problem before. Granted, it is not the fastest device, but I don't believe it is the underlying problem. Does everyone complaining about the lag problems just need to buy a new device? Come on...."mystery2mi;c-1962577" wrote:

Did you disconnect your track ride pieces like has been suggested throughout the thread?
If you have and you're still experiencing lag then it probably is your device.- I didn't really have any lag issues until today. Holy cow! It took over 20 minutes to clear my SF.

That's one holy cow there! - I think Tapebelt recognised that a large part of the lag seems to come from the staffing rides tasks
Try to reset those after you've cleared your town and it goes quicker
