Hi guys I'm trying to find if anyone has been able to put Game Tuner apk on a Galaxy Tab A successfully and I can't find anything about it on any site. Any insight on it would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Must be a love/hate kinda thing - I play on a Galaxy Tab S and it's my fave tablet ever. You might try grabbing something called Game Tuner from the app store. Depending on the game in question it can give you a lot of control over things such as screen rez. Each new update from EA seems to determine whether I need to use it or not.

To get around the this app is not compatible with this device is easy. First go into settings and tap lock screen and security, turn on unknown sources. Then do a Google search for samsung game tuner Apk, find the most current version number and install it. After you have installed it i recommend turning off unknown sources in less your a techie.

My preferred TSTO device is a Galaxy Tab S. When it was brand new there was a compatibility problem but ea quickly added the necessary code to make the game run smoothly. Which galaxy device did you buy?

Yes, I mentioned this approach in another thread on this subject. As a caveat, some users have warned that sideloading apps in this manner (i.e., when the app in question does not specifically target the hardware) could produce dire consequences. This strikes me as a bit alarmist, but I’m not an Android expert.

Only if you don't trust the company, but since it's samsung you have nothing to worry about. I reformatted my tablet after I did it I could not use it, so I installed it by using the method I said. I have had zero problems. The message this app is not compatible is from the play store and I find if the item is in the play store its been vetted.

I’m happy you were able to successfully install the Game Tuner APK. Not quite sure I follow some of your logic, however. The Google Play Store doesn’t just make up info about app compatibility; that comes from the developer — in this case, Samsung. Second, it’s not clear to me why Samsung should be held in such high regard when it comes to consumer trust. They’ve suffered their share of problems over the years; just consider the Note 7 debacle.

A while back, I bought the galaxy tab s2 for $400 specifically for playing tsto instead of my phone. Found out after, tsto doesn't play nice with full screen (original tab S was wide). Lesson learned. Gave the S2 to my mom and bought a widescreen Huawei. Full screen 4:3 never again. What did they think this was? in the year 2000..... in the year two thousandddddd......
