Search button disappeared

So it's just a matter of me being impatient and going between KL and SF didn't give it enough time. Interesting :)

This happens to me too.

I actually tried hiding the checkbook and that didn't help. But waiting did help so I guess it's more about the game catching up than anything else.

It happens to me after the button is introduced. However, I have completed KL so I don't assign the characters there anymore so this does not bother me now.

I've had it happen a couple of times in the past. If I remember correctly, all it took was me clicking on a single townie to get the character button to pop back up again for them and everyone else (so I did not have to click every townie). I assumed that the transition between areas just caused a delay/bug.
