I recently bought and upgraded the beach hideaways. Now I am at 1.5 billion SH $.The maximum value for SH $ is capped at 2 billion iirc. There is simply no reason to go for the extra 500 millions. On the other hand... the grind is available, so I might as well go for it... :smiley: Is anyone doing it?How is your experience? I think it is super hard, since the craftable items do not give that many $$.What are your thoughts and experience?

I'm at like 1.7b. I never really thought to bother. I don't think it would take too long. I got to 1 billion pretty quick. Normally grinded on the weekends when watching tv. The only reason I tried that hard was to top a friend in my list. After I was #1 I was unfriended. lol

No reason to do it really unless you enjoy the grinding. I do SH stuff while watching movies. When I'm serious about it I'll put Kwik-E-Marts and Krusty Burgers around the production buildings to get a little extra exp and cash for tapping.

grinded my way to 1b, and took out my frustration about the 4x weekend which basically was a slap in the face to all of us who previously grinded for our 1b by going ahead and banging out the other 1bwasnt even initially planning to do the first billion, as it was such a tedious and boring grind for something that is only minor on the simpsons...the tasks lengths were just terrible for something that takes so long

The only goal I have in SH is to finish up my buildings. I may end up going up to 2 mil while doing it. But I'm not rushing through it and I only have a few buildings left at level 4

I got the first billion over a year ago.

During the recent 4X weekend I added to that, but not by much. I'm still only at 1.354 billion.

I still don't see how I'm supposed to reach 2 billion. Do I really need to craft 2000 polo fields?

I don't have all the private islands full upgraded; I guess that would help a little, but it wouldn't be everything.

I was stuck at 1.8 plus Billion. Then I think during the recent beach hideaways, the items released enabled me to hit 2 Billion. I am just hoping they release more land in SH side as there is no space to do proper decoration.

I hit the 2 Billion mark over the 4X weekend. Had a few extra buildings beyond the 10 (due to a glitch when SH first came out) so it was easy enough.

having a few extra buildings from that glitch definitely help, the only other way to do it is to craft tons of stuff you dont need that add a little bit of real estate value each time. $10-20 million to upgrade a building versus having to craft tons of items that add 100k or whatever

I really haven't given it much thought since I hit the 1billion mark. I still have plenty of buildings that I haven't purchased since they didn't seem worth the time or effort. Hopefully they'll introduce another expansion with more land. If they do then I'll consider going for the 2 billion.
