Here is what Bunny had to say. By "The others" she means the other possibilities, which is getting some number of tickets. By "still in there", she means still in the game files. By "1% chance" she means the probability of getting 5 donuts before the 299th pop. The entire thread can be read on addicts under "Hey Hey It’s Sideshow…YOU!".

Perhaps there is some user action that resets the count of pops to zero! Would not surprise me if that were so.

I've also won donuts about 5 times and should be coming up on 6th soon I believe. I have started though picking the same 3 balloons every time for the last 2 donut wins. The way I figure it is if its 300 games or pops great, I can usually get in 3 tries per day.. If its totally random great too since I always pick the same balloons leaving me to feel like I have a better chance at hitting that random donut balloon if my picks were consistent vs. the balloon and my picks both being completely random..

I cant say for certain that picking the same balloons each time is the best way to go but it makes me feel like im getting the most out of my odds of winning at least.

Agreed - I went quite a while around Thanksgiving last year (had to have been more than 3 months) without getting any donuts. That's what made me question the way it works and why ive started picking the same 3 balloons each time.

I pick the same ones each time too. But that's because I don't think it matters which ones you pick, and I don't want to have to think about it each time. :wink:
