Clean off 6-8 gbs of space and reboot device. It may download again and then be good. If on IOS, make sure the offload apps feature is turned off, clear your cache, clear history on safari and spotify if you use them and you may need 10 gb free or 10% of your total storage free. IOS lies about how much free space you have so clear off everything you can.
If you have more than 6 gigs of space clear your cache, uninstall, reboot, reinstall, do not play while downloading Only do this if you have an account.
Also reboot and disconnect from your internet equipment. - Thanks 11 EEvey. I have a Samsung Galaxy E. I cleared the cache which cleared for all apps & I have uninstalled all the apps that I can. I powered off my tablet. Tried to open STO, but app still stops.
- 4junk3000New SpectatorSame problem here. This cant be on us. Too many ppl experiencing same problem. I have plenty of room and good connection. I can finally get the game to finish its reinstall, I login, but it wont continue. Game requires a force-quit. We prob have to wait for an update or maybe accept we've joined the abandoned. That group grows every day

- This may finally be the event that allows me to quit the game. Sweet release after 3 maybe 4 years. Maybe more. There is no way it's my space or ram or anything. Works one minute then after update it doesn't work.
- 4junk3000New SpectatorI'm in. Booted up an old tablet running ancient CyanogenMod and game updated and loaded no problem. Less ram, older Android version. So it's obviously a conflict with hardware in certain devices and not related to our account. Try another device if possible. Good luck
- 4junk3000New SpectatorWell that didnt last. I played on my older device a good 20m. Tapped everything, got my event tasks started, and then app quit. Now app wont load up, same as newer device. App crashing repeatedly. Fix your network or whatever this is!

THIS kind of stuff is what makes me really mad.
Since EA cant be bothered to issue a simple public statement notifying us this is a limited outage they're aware of, we take all kinds of unnecessary steps trying to resolve an issue we think might be our fault. I reinstalled this giant game datatbase 3x today. Who else foolishly tried this in desperation? . HOW MUCH DATA DID THAT WASTE TODAY, EA? It's really just callous and disrespectful to let us dangle unaware indefinitely as they do. - nerd_alert2016New SpectatorYes, having a problem getting into the game on my Amazon Fire Tablet. EA has posted on that forum that they are working on it. I just tried to get into STO at 3:30 pm and it Stopped on me again I did email EA. They are suppose to reply to me tomorrow, Friday.
