Skyscraper/Escalator

They are both tall, so if you want the tops to be seen, you have to place them in certain spots in your town.

But as far as land space, the escalator needs two squares (there is enough room to put other things on those squares, though, like bushes, seats, etc.). I don't have the skyscraper, but I believe it's the same.
