Is it overpriced for a single building? Yes, no doubt about it.

On the other hand, they really did give us way more free buildings, items, skins and characters than they sold to us this time around, so I can't complain about it at all.

Do they sometimes try and milk us for every donut possible? Oh, no doubt about it, but I really can't say that about this event. The feed store is more for the whales or the supporters who keep the game in business. It's not needed in the slightly, you like it, get it, cool. You don't, don't, cool. I grabbed one but I'm at a point where I'm concentrating far more on buildings than characters.

Personally I found charging us for the barrels instead of offering them up in crafting as more of a nickle and dime means of squeezing some money out of us. Bottom line is, they do have to make some money, this isn't a cheap game to make. Considering how many buildings they gave us for free, I have no issue with dropping 90 donuts to pick one of the (only) four new buildings they're charging us for.

A building on its own, apart from Cletus having 1 quest and earns a little cash and xp every 4 hours not much going for it, however it goes well with the western wild west theme. And that's why I bought it.
