Snow envy

You're not alone. Here in The Netherlands it's most likely that we'll have snow in Januari.

At least we got the snow in our Springfields.

Thanks to the "monster" El Nino, we probably won't get any snow this year. After the winters we had the past two years, however, I don't think my family wants to hear the word "snow" ever again. I don't mind it much I just don't want it to be warm all winter long. It doesn't feel right :(.
  • There's a powerful El Ni?o this year resulting in unusually warm weather.
Growing up in NE Ohio, I've had all the snow I could ever want. I live in beautiful, sunny Arizona now. I will NEVER miss snow.
  • No snow envy from me, don't mind pictures of the stuff or in the game but once I get the white stuff on the streets and paths around myself I'm usually pretty much house bound.
  • I live in South Wales in the UK, we had a dusting of snow a few weeks ago but thank goodness it melted quickly. It's pretty, but everything grinds to a halt when it snows and its hard to even get the car out of the drive much less take it out on the road. I'm quite happy that we don't get much.

I live in the Alabama. Half an inch of snow here is considered a massive snow storm and an inch is a blizzard.

In my lifetime it's snowed here ONCE at Christmas. Barely.

I was 8 1/2 months pregnant Christmas of '10 and we had a blizzard on Christmas. THREE FEET of snow when I couldn't even see my feet... a one inch blizzard would have been much more welcome! LOL

It's another bright, sunny day in Southern California.

It hails really hard on one day every couple years. We can pretend that's snow if we want.

Yup, we like to pretend in Hollyweird... all the more reason to enjoy STO 8)

Many people in the UK will identify with this. Upon waking over the last few days, I have been surprised when I looked out of the window of my bedroom, that the houses, gardens and streets are not covered in snow. Outside is grey and drab with nobody whatsoever walking around in bright jumpers with smiles on their faces. Yes, some house have bright lights and decorations but nothing over the top, even to the point of being downright tasteful

I have developed snow envy and it's getting progressively worse as each day passes. Please help.

Me too!! Though more and more lights are up now so despite being wet and grey instead of lovely and snowy it's starting to feel Christmassy now :)

    P.S. I'm in Buckinghamshire too!!

No snow yet in New Hampshire. After the 100+ inches we got last winter, I don't care if it doesn't snow at all...
