So dead characters will never appear in the game, huh?
Well, we've already had a comic book character added to our Springfield. EA is clearly getting more and more desperate and dead but iconic characters extend the life of the game a little longer.

I've said it since day 1. Just because the character died in the show does not mean that they will never show up in other media. The same can be said for retired characters.
