- I have a similar problem.
Also, no offense to anyone in particular, but there seems to be an overwhelming attitude on this forum of "Well I though it was easy, I don't know why you couldn't do it" - GREAT CONTRIBUTION, thanks, that answers NO questions.
I mentally replay that scene from Mayored To The Mob when Homer saves Mark Hamill from the dorks at Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con and screams "Neeeeeerrrrrrrrrddddddddsssssss!" because he is so overcome with rage at their entitled dorkery. - dcacooperNew Spectator

Well ... When the question is "I have played the game this way and am nowhere near, what are others doing?"and others are doing exactly the same and getting there easily, what answer is there to give? Fine, posters could just say nothing, but that isn't really how forums function.
As a student teacher I have managed to visit my SF no more than twice a day Monday to Friday for the entire event and yet hit prizes way ahead of schedule. I don't know why someone else who says they have played every three-four hours hasn't got close to completing because from my point of view the whole event was fairly straightforward.
There really isn't anything else I can say ... Sorry that winds you up so much. - I think the main problem with the design this year was the fact that if you achieved all the prizes early in the first two phases (the probes, and then the ray guns), you had to wait several days for the new phase to begin. In two years of playing TSTO, I have never had a problem achieving all the prizes until this event. I had to spend donuts to get the U.B.O. last night because one can never know if EA will extend and event or not, or offer the prizes for purchase at the end. To make matters worse, my Springfield is still in the "squish Rigellians" format, so I could have continued trying today. I am liking this less and less.
- Keeping hope alive it continues at least thru the weekend for those of us continuing our Halloween struggle :!:
Played vigorously a couple times a day, but did miss a few days of friend visits &have about 3k to go for UBO...
Again note 'PROBABLY' above Kang

...Thx to my dedicated groovy neighboreenos that continue their excellent donations 8) - keep getting them there's a chance you'll unlock him and the prize page is wrong since its after the countdown timer
- @ dcacooper : The only point being made here is that some people like me have a difficult time trying to reach the goals, eventhough I was dedicated and bought the license.
It's great you had no problem getting all the prizes as a student teacher. Each life is different, each person has a different time management. That's why commenting 'It was easy' etc. doesn't add anything as we can't judge eachother. We would all like to get the best experience out of the game. So I hope you grant us that too. Here are quite a few people that had trouble reaching the goal, who with previous events had no trouble getting all the prizes. It's something for EA to take into consideration for an upcoming event. I'm upset that I spent donuts to get UBO and it took my donuts but I can't find him anywhere. It's not in my inventory or anything. WTFFFF- You *can* craft UBO. His crafting ingredients are LPSs. Keep collecting more of them, it still works.

I got the DIET sign already and now I'm being offered a chance to craft it. I'd like to craft U.B.O. but it looks like I have to craft the sign first. I'm afraid if I tap the "craft now" I will end up with two signs and use all of my crafting materials! Silly, I know. Can anyone help with this?
I already have the DIET sign and tapped the craft button. I already have the UBO so wasn't concerned. Nothing happens.
Oh, and the only reason I got the UBO was my cat. If George didn't wake me up during the night for extra food I wouldn't have squished so many aliens and gathered the extra bags. . This event has been a bit tight and I think they are taking the fun out of the game in the hope people will buy donuts.
