Same here! EA WTF? Samsung Galaxy Tab A. Same issue as all the rest. Sound mutes after game loads fully. Also if I try to swipe down, or go back to the main menu to mute/unmute tablet the game just FREEZES.

Fix your game EA. Too much money spent in this game to play it without sound!!!!

I can't do any of the old stuff I could do either without it freezing if I swipe down to answer a text it freezes if I close it then click to open it again it will be frozen I have to fully stop it and re open it whatever they did they messed everything up

Haven't tried where's Maggie but otherwise the sound seems ok to me.
Had the the game freeze on me twice when entering my age to switch towns :confused:

Actually there is a post in bugs section. This effects both my Samsung Tab A. Starts with the birds chirping then silence. The actually mutes the the tablet. If i unmute the game freezes.
Let's give a hand for quality control ??

I tried my Samsung S3 and my Samsung Galaxy 6 phone , neither is effected by this sound glitch.

Yeah same for me it's werid I also have a way longer wait to get in my game with the update

Same here on my Galaxy Tab A 8.0. I've been having a "fire" sound when it first starts. Now it does that, then no sound. I get clicks & boops when doing things like logging in and entering my age, then nothing once the game starts.
I have reported the problem to Technical support, anyone else with the problem should do so as well.

No sound since I did the update last night as well.

I get sound when I don't move the screen or tap anything but any little movement or action the sound fades away.

The SOLUTION is to uninstall the Google play store version of the game, Download the Amazon App Store to your device and get the game reinstalled via Amazon.



I can CONFIRM 100% this works. The lack of sound in tapped out was driving my wife absolutely bonkers! With the above fix I have restored balance to the universe and once again enjoy the ageless adage "happy wife....happy life!"
