- My native language is Dutch, since I live in Belgium.... also said 'Springfield'... but I changed it to English. Just didn't look right when the quest conversations aren't in English ?

- Belgium is a small country but large in the number of official languages that is spoken with us namely Dutch, French, and German. I also live in Flanders, so I 'm glad to meet a fellow coutryman here Denisgarfield

Idioms rarely translate well. As a kid I remember learning the French equivalent to "see you later, alligator" was "a bientot, escargot". That cracked me up back then - A bientot croccodile that does not rhyme and sound so good :D

I did research on Belgium on a story I wrote once (two people escaping from Revolutionary France across the border to Belgium). I was surprised to find that there are several languages spoken regionally as well. At least they would have been more widely spoken in the 18th century!

Well there is still a Dutch, French and German speaking community. Those are 3 official languages for 1 little bitty piece of a country. ?
And none of them translate well. That's why I prefere the original English ?
