I've "finished" the first three quests (Homer,Ned and Ralph) and I haven't received any free egg generator. On the contrary I paid 75 donuts for the MKII that gives 300 pink eggs every 24 hours. The MKI gives 75 blue eggs every 12.hours :?

He meant that it's unlocked for purchase for donuts after the initial 24hr quest.

The free one you get is further on in the questline.

you can buy one for donuts immediatly but after a bit of the questline you get 1 for free
