Ok so the 23rd sounds about right for the event to start. New event after tomorrow... woohoo!

Okay. So that means tomorrow, finally 16 hours (left) here.

I'll be up at 4AM just to see if the new event triggers. It used to be like that. They've been doing it mid day now between 1 and 3

With major events it's usually an app store update.

Which have been getting later and later and later.

Would be great if it just automatically drops into our games tomorrow at 8am (UK time) like the rest of the in game stuff does :)

I'm expecting an app store update about 5pm ET (10pm GMT) tomorrow because they seem to drop late these days.

Does anyone know what makes Tuesday such a special day for releasing stuff?

Its the day I go back to work after a 3 day weekend every week. EA hates me.

I don't know why Tuesday is the "day updates drop", I guess EA wants to be as difficult as possible when it comes to events.

A lot of people go back to work, after a weekend. *shrugs*
