- I would use a spreadsheet but kitty litter seems so much more appropriate.

Spreadsheets can be great, and you can find a flexible table to manage all, even better. I'm all about organization, and maybe this level of interaction for a mobile game is a bit much, but, It makes me happy, and I get enjoyment out of it. So, whatever makes one happy I suppose.
Everyone loves a good spreadsheet
I only plan when I'm redesigning or planning out my premium purchases creating a queueCookieKwan1 wrote:

I spreadsheet, I usually have Excell open on my laptop, while tapping away at my Ipad.
Mine is set up so I have all the usernames catergorized alphabetically then colour coded. Yellow is forum regular, blue is up and coming forum regular, gray is personally requested my friendship, but does not fall into the above. Pink is family and friends IRL and white is un catergorized.
I also track activity, who I've visited, when and who visits me. If someone hasn't visited in a while, and there is an event on, I can pretty well garuntee who's no longer active. Outside of events, I slack off and everyone gets less scrutiny :p
Pretty much this  . My colours are different and I also have a development section so I can note if they are designed well, under construction, redesigning, have house farms. A notes section to detail what they tap on in my SF. It gives me all the information I need to make cuts.
I love this. I was really resistant to the multi-device playing, but you had me at colour coding. - I barely have enough time in the day to collect my money and maybe visit some neighbors. To track, or care, to know who visited me is insanity. Different strokes for different folks. Truth in advertising I guess that it could be life ruining fun for some.

Now as one of your new neighbours, I'm impressed and scared in equal measure. Love a bit of colour coding, though! :D- In the glitch/easter-egg heyday, I had a spreadsheet (printed) for sorting out visit timing (for those whose timezones were discernable) to max probability I was doing them any good. If a loyal visitor had stuff away from their landing zone, I had notes as to what areas to scroll to.
As you can see in my signature line, I lost that, though i guess those are gone now anyway.
Id like one now for timezone info, because without timezones I don't know how to identify possible excuses for towns having nothing to tap.
I like spreadsheet cuz I can sort/resort in different ways, filter, etc. It's been waaay to long since creating my last database (Visual Basic/Access 2.0) ... So I wouldn't even attempt one for TSTO
I now have columns for whose town has specific features I like (*cough* and might copy and then drop them so they won't know *cough*)
I HAD spreadsheets of which characters I had so I knew who was still unassigned, but that was cuz I needed every possible Penny. And the character finder makes that moot now. - Wow you guys are dedicated.
- You track your neighbors? And what happens if the game doesn't ask for a log-in for days? And I thought I didn't have a life!
- I've got a spreadsheet set up, but have never thought to use it for tracking Neighbours. Probably wouldn't now either, as you can check their last check-in time via the new friends options.
Mine started off due to the first major Android event - Whacking Day. I wanted to see what I'd have to collect to reach Sleep-Easy Motel, and did so with days to spare on the original end date (before they extended it too!!). It just sort of grew from there with each passing event.
Mine consists of:
"Springfield"-related Tabs
*Conform-O-Meter - so can see star ratings, how many needed etc.
*Decoration multiplier bonuses by items
*Income per day - buildings (including C-O-M bonus & % multiplier bonus. Has "best possible" earnings, as well as "reasonable" earnings based on how often I actually collect/set character tasks)
*Income per day - characters (also includes skins to make Standards > Premium characters, + KL tickets calcs)
*Land expansion maps - with calcs, remaining $ and % of land, etc.
*Squidport Tiles calculator - time remaining & cost
"Krustyland"-related Tabs
*Krust-O-Meter - so can see star ratings, how many needed etc.
*Income per day - buildings
*Land expansion maps - with calcs, remaining $ and % of land, etc.
"Event"-related tabs
*Tables calculating when prizes will be earnt, arranged across days, etc. When end-of-day totals entered it adjusts forward estimates. Later events also have Community totals forward-estimates for when prizes will be earnt (adjusting per daily rate, etc.)
*Events = Whacking Day, Halloween 2013, Xmas 2013 (inc. Wheel calcs & tracking), Val. Day 2014 (inc. Wheel calcs & tracking)
I use Google Drive, so I can adjust on mobile as well as PC. All spreadsheets are integrated - eg. if I adjust that I own Spinster Apartments, the Building income will change for that, as well as Characters for P&S and the C-O-M total too. Event prizes adjust their areas too, so I just have to enter my total at the end of the day (eg. FPs, goo, gift cards) for that event and it all adjusts to reflect that. It includes all possible items (even stuff I haven't bought or were for prior events), but they obviously just register as having 0 of those. LanceUppercut808 wrote:

Whoa...that is INTENSE. I am envious of your spreadsheet wizardry. I used to be a spreadsheet nut, but I found a pill for that. :)
Wasn't so bad - have just added to it with each event. I considered duplicating it for others to create copies from, but it'd be such a pain to explain & highlight what needs to be entered manually for it to work properly.
