Springfield Downs

I am not a gambler; other have posted that they have gotten the 99-1 shot a few times. Some are ahead some behind. It's a mini-game; play it if you like the risk
  • Since the odds were updated a few months back, I play it all the time. For $2K, you get a 1:2 chance on a 3:1 return. It's a long-term money-maker.
  • My priority is experience points (donuts) so I always bet and nearly always the 1:2 odds.

Just curious as to what everyone's consensus is on this. Is it really with forking out the $2000 a bet? Do you ever actually manage to get a win?
I've placed 4 bets and have lost them all and now feel quite put off by it that I'm no longer wasting the cash.

I used to bet randomly and only won once in awhile. Then I just bet the 2:1 option and that was working out okay for awhile.
For the past few months I've stuck with one dog and have hit more often than not actually. I have to be way ahead, I've won the big prize twice and several of the medium ones. So that is my advice, stick with the same dog over and over. I picked Drool Brittania.

I use raised by wolves all the time and am well ahead!

Someone else commented that between them, dogbiscuit and raised by wolves win around 70% of races but I havent done any stats of my own.
  • Never did bet anything, because when i got it my revenue was low and i just forgot about it after a while. Now i just use it for flanagans 24 hour task
  • interesting schnee pat.....I will have to try..ive won the 99 to 1 once out of 5 times betting...it seems you can win the 12K bet at about a 50-60% clip.....
