I'm serious. I thought this was a limited time event. I sure got a lot done at least. xD
  • Do you ever play RPGs? In games like that you are constantly acquiring items to give to someone else so they can use them to create another item for you. This was big In Skyrim where you had to collect resources from throughout the land then combine or turn those resources into more resources just to take those resources to another character all so you could upgrade a sword. I don't intend to come off rude, but what EA is doing is no different than what other game companies have been doing for years. Same concept except you can dictate how much of the original resource you can get in TSTO. In Skyrim and many other RPGs you have to hunt the resources down.

As for what's going on in China, they are the second largest economy in the World. They heavily regulate everything they can and have the ability to oppose large western companies easily. Why would EA spend time and resources fighting a system they know they can't change. Additionally what's the benefit to EA? TSTO is hardly their biggest money maker. Strictly from a company stand point it makes no sense to risk a big portion of your business fighting a system that you can't control. I get you're irritated, but your issues lie with the Chinese government not EA.

It's not an event or a "patch" for that matter.
