- I haven't even tried to use the tunnel yet...I'm still trying to get my regular track to line up!
- My design was One space up and one space left/right. Redesign took about 90minutes moving every track piece. Yes moving stations was annoying but it allowed me to cut a few of those decorative pine trees and refine some areas. Nuking never crossed my mind.
- I had to move everything by one too but it was incredibly easy with the tools they give you.
Just use the selection tool (area select) and the masking tool (hide everything but the rail) and move in chunks. My monorail is pretty long but it only took me a half hour to move the rail. Luckily most of the movement didn't have anything in the way; there were a few areas with crowded design that required some things to be moved around but overall it was easier than I expected. Done and done- and I'm happy. - Argh, mine is too. I can't move everything to accommodate the tunnel because I would run out of room. I would also have tracks sitting over roads, which I hate to look at.
They could fix it by giving everyone a couple of tracks with the extra space. - Mine lined right up, BUT I've had simulator situations when building track coming from two directions.
- I think most people have the problem because they likeep to line up the tracks with the sidewalks rather than the middle of the road.
http://i.imgur.com/gk4dR37.jpg - I have the same problem. I have an enormous track layout connecting all four stations throughout my town. My town is large and crammed with crap, because I've been playing the game since day one. Moving all the track one space would be annoying, but shifting all four stations would require a lot of redesign. I like my town the way it is, I put a lot of time into landscaping and layout. If they just created a one-space track piece, it would solve the problem. I really hope they offer some solution to the issue. If they don't, I think I will create a separate loop through the tunnel and into SH.

Personally i like the tracks going around my springfield, so the tracks are on the border ya know?
however thats just me, i still had to move every item (way easier with area select tool, however any BUILDINGS in the way had to be moved as well......)
Hopefully it gets fixed cause me no like.

So in the meantime I'm making it a construction site, unconnected to the main circuit. By doing this I'm also avoiding the problem reported here. Because i expect it to be misaligned as well. Poor engineering, EA!
Who designed this tunnel, Lyle Lanley?? I think we been had!
https://cdn.meme.am/images/11794294.jpg - I never received the tunnel due to a glitch but after reading of the problems people have had I'm kinda glad to be honest lol I have a full size loop with 5 stations running round my SF and another loop with 2 stations running round my SH with 2 trains (thanks to the glitch last Monorail event) so leaving it all as it is may not be all that bad after all.
