Unfortunately I have been ignoring the game entirely. I am ( usually) a daily player who checked in every few hours but now...I rarely check in. I think because it is such a chore to do the SH tasks. I can't explain it but I don't really enjoy it and because I find it feels more like work....I just ignore it completely.
Same here. SH kinda ruined the fun...LostCauze-NL wrote:

Yeah to me it's changed the nature of the game.i enjoy tapping to get the next level prize, building it, placing it and decorating. Now....I can't really do much of that. Everything is in a state of flux. I have to strategize how to use my supplies. I dont want that...again, that's work!- While I'm still visiting daily, I must admit that the SH expansion has killed some of my excitement for the game.
I realize the expansion is geared for more long-term game play, but I'm somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer volume and complexity of things now. I think I liked it much better when this type of gameplay was limited to events. With this being the M.O. for the forseeable future, I'd be lying if I didn't say that some of the sparkle is gone for me.
P.S. In b4 "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PLAY A GAME YOU HATE! JUST QUIT LUZER! RAWWRRRBBQ. - yup i've forgoten about springfield...i think EA will lose money because of SH
- I've actually been looking for ways to use some of the new decorations all over town. Just put some modern art sculptures in front of El Chemistri, for example. And those little potted plants are great for sprucing up a few houses. My Springfield is definitely getting attention.
- The only part that is being neglected, is the decorating. Because of SH, I'm over the 4500 recommended item limit, so now I search for ways to undecorate, as it were. But I somehow saved 20 million, so I'm still collecting and tasking people. I finally unlocked Moneybag Burns just about 2 seconds before Tap Ball hit, so I was still doing his quests when SH unlocked.
Also, SH made me take the dive to buy Jasper, Bumblebee Man, and Disco Stu. I had the donuts, I was just procrastinating hard on what to spend them on. So, overnight I am still going through the questlines that came with them. Technically I bought the donuts on my Birthday, but I'm spending them now, so EA's not losing out on the $$ from me in this expansion. neuroheart wrote:

I totally agree with you on that. All those hot tubs that came with the classic mansions can help the poor people in the brown houses feel better. I also noticed one of my neighbors used the classic garage as a free standing garage not attached to the house. Loads of possibilities!janis810 wrote:

I guess when I get to the point where I can buy decorations for SH I'll probably do that. Right now I'm in a desperate struggle to buy land and keep earning currency. After that it'll be buildings and upgrades. I have to admit this is slow going for me and really not as rewarding as I'd hoped. I'm with ya drumnman! Frankly I'm impressed with the people who've progressed so far so quickly. Clearly you've hit on a great strategy.4kidsandacatdog wrote:

I don't have all the land or buildings in the Heights. I'm buying the decorations because I want them and it makes the expansion more fun for me.- I'm going to be nuking my town again.
This is going to be exciting for me! I've done it 3 times already. This latest expansion will have my thinking about the layout of my town in a new way. Plus I'll have to design with future land expansions in mind, right? The update with the two rows of land was big, and now Springfield heights. I'm also glad I can once again build Squidport tiles finally.
