I agree with you here...those first 8-10 seasons were the best. This is also why some of the new skins like Gorgeous Grandpa & Fruit Bat Man do nothing for me...I'd like more classic items, buildings & characters.
Well, that's part of the reasonnI am looking forward to the summer, Halloween and Christmas seasons. The show is on break in the summer and has such a big history for Halloween and Christmas that it is unavoidable we will get classic Simpsons during that time fare. This is especially true if EA wants to stick to monthly updates between May and October when the show comes back.
I think we can have the best of both worlds, classic and current and that can be a very nice thing.
