Squidport Quest stopped

it could be anything. Probably some side quests that need to be done first. I had started playing a new town and I don't remember all of SP tasks happening one after another. When SP first came into the game, that was all we had to work on at the time. I've learned in my new town that there are so many quests/tasks happening at once it harder to finish a story line. In the olden days it was more straight forward.
