The glitch caught me in an unrelated foul mood, so I fired off a message to EA. I'm a bit confused by their reply:
"I am happy to report that I was able to add 12 donuts to your game for you. Yay! I added a few extra Donuts to your account. Becuase lets be honest Homer can never have too many Donuts. Please keep in mind that donut restoration is not guaranteed. However we do everything we can to help out when we can. I hope in the future you will continue to enjoy playing video games and contact us any time you would like assistance with anything.
Happy Tapping!!"
As yet, nothing has been restored. I'm confused about why EA would say they have restored the doughnuts, and then say (in the next sentence) that doughnut restoration is not guaranteed. Weird. Did they or didn't they? Will they or won't they?
