Stonecutter daycare

I have read through the guides for the event and searched the forum but can't seem to find how you get the daycare center.

Anyone know or want to point me to the right place?

Thanks

You buy it.
  • Stone cutter day care center is available to buy. click on the build menu icon (saw and hammer icon), then tap on the stone cutters beer stein icon. look through the items in this menu and you will find the day care center.
  • I'm sorry to sound rude, but this is one of the cases where you need to try before you ask.
  • its in the buy menu with all the stuff you can buy in there.
  • Point taken, I should have included the fact that I don't have it on my buy menu. So I assumed that I needed to "unlock" it somehow and had nit reached the paticular quest to unlock.

Also, before anyone asks, I did also check to see if I somehow purchased and put in my inventory.

    Thanks.

Well, that's a horse of a different colour! That's a dilly of a jam of a pickle! You might need to get in touch with EA customer service about that, I haven't read anything like that issue on here, yet...are all the other stonecutter items in the buy menu?
  • Yeah, I sent a message and will try a chat in the AM.

About as hopefull as ever getting into my krustyland :/

Have you downloaded the update? And if so, have you gotten to the point where it and other Stonecutters related content is unlocked? If yes to that please contact EA, if no then you need to update and/or get through the tasks to reach that part of the event.

I'm sorry I sound rude but isn't the point of this forum to help people who are either stuck on something or have a question to ask? Otherwise what's the point of the forum? Because yes that was rude they where only asking a question that you didn't help with, yet sent a bit of a snappy comment.

That is true but sometimes there is a limit to the complexity of questions. We can't have hundreds of of threads asking silly questions like "where do I buy bushes?" Or "how do I set Lisa on the saxophone task?" Or "how do I put on roads?"

Sometimes you need to spend a few minutes playing around in the game and try for yourself before asking for help, otherwise these forums get supersaturated with questions and that would lower the quality of the forums which would result in less people wanting to participate and answer threads.
  • As with most things it comes down to a value judgement. When is something too silly to ask? Equally important question would be when is something too silly to respond too? And if you deem it not worthy of being asked why would you post a reply?

    I appreciate those who answered.

Instead of writing a novel I was brief in my question. Stating several of the things I had done should suffice in demonstrating that I had not simply run to post a question to the board without attempting to find an answer for myself. However, it seems that was my err so I will correct below with a full accounting of how my question came to be.

    1. Download update
    2. "Stone cutters. Cool. Noo! How long does this task take before I can get to the good stuff?"
    3. Logged back in, "Should I use donuts to speed up the process?"
    4. Resist donut usage, go play Ultimate Frisbee instead.
    5. Log back in, use donuts. "What? Another task!?!?" I knew it, always a few tasks to get to the good stuff.
    6. Read the forums for the walkthroughs. "Wow, lots of positive posts about the update. Number 1 tasks? Scroll tasks?"
    7. log back in, use donuts or not. "No, I am still unable to log into krustyland since Easter so I won't purchase anymore until fixed, this is day one. Relax.
    8. "Woo hoo, I can spy and stuff."
    9. "What the heck? Only 60 friend actions get the event currency?!?!" Reread walkthroughs, visit other TSTO sites.
    10. Envy at the few of my friends who have massive donut stockpiles and are almost done the game.
    11. Check out all the event donut purchases. "51!!! Oh...I want that. Abandoned building....pffft. Skins...meh."
    12. Check out the event cash purchases. "Walls...hmmm, those might look cool around the lodge. A slide...meh."
    13. Read guides on prizes. "Not too bad"
    14. Friend visits. "Whoa look at that! An entire compound! Might steal that trick with the walls."
    15. "Prizes won"
    16. Friend visits. "Daycare Center? What the heck is that? Whoa...two friends with it? Ahhh..chill both of them have a crap load of event currency and every premium item ever made."
    17. Friend visits. "I wish my name started with an A or a B for visits to my own town.
    18. Forum check for event currency need by day. "Great, I am well ahead."
    19. "More Daycares? Wait, these folks don't have the same amount of currency? What did I miss?"
    20. Premium menu check. "Ohhhh look 51, no stop nit what you are here for. Nope no daycare."
    21. Build menu check. "Nope, maybe decoration menu? Nope. Event menu check..hmmm."
    22. Inventory check. "Did I skip reading a task bubble or something? Nope."
    23. Check the scroll tasks. "What the heck?"
    24. Forum search for daycare. "Ok, a few posts. No one seems to be missing it. No ones is talking about how they got it. Crap. Must have been one of the early tasks."
    25. Forum walkthroughs. "Ok, I did those, nothing seems to unlock the fricking daycare center. What the hell?! I don't even like kids!"
    26. Post question.

Hopefully this more humorous take makes up for the original post.
