3. Put building you want him to work at, next to building he's working in.
4. Store occupied building to force him out. Then retask him. He should go to your preferred bldg.
5. If he runs away, take whatever bldg he goes to, and try again.
This is only a trick to manipulate the AI. It's not designed to be like this. Maybe, hopefully someday they will assign tasks for this building. Until then this is just a home brew work around.

i was kinda wondering the same thing.... especially if there is no space next to the building he's working in to place another building next to it.- It's not easier, it's harder.
I never send Wise Guy anywhere special because I'm lazy. One day, when all characters can be assigned from buildings themselves, I'll assign him to cool buildings. - I would like it if we could assign any character task to any time we want. For example: sideshow bob meet his raker task could be 12 hours instead
of just one. There are so many great one hour tasks I never see anymore because I can't log in that much and need more income. This would also help with assigning characters to buildings. - A task edit mode could help that. Would be great.

It probably isn't. Who said it was? Jona said she was having trouble getting him in the building and I suggested a method to try that's not too hard, but not necessarily easy, thus easiER. Easier than chasing him around I guess.

i'm one of the few people that values buildings just as much, if not more, than characters in this game... and that has been one of my most requested features for a long time. hopefully hangar 18 is a test in that regard, and they finally code in a way for us to assign tasks by building... or at least introduce more buildings with the same ability."4junk3000;c-1607403" wrote:

i think we assumed you were comparing it to the method i described...- I'm a little confused why this building is such a big deal for 4-20, it wasn't a dispensary in the show. So why would smoke come out of it anyway?
