I complained to EA and surprise surprise they told me to post my problem here. So here it is. If you are annoyed you paid real money for this so called limited time event character only for it to become available a few months later for freely generated in game donuts then add your complaint here.Here's my complaint email below.Not that it got me anywhere of course! :# Dear EA Customer Support,In April this year I paid £9.99 for Sven Golly. He was advertised as a limited time event character only available if you purchased donuts during that event.I am very angry that this character is now available during the black Friday deals. Not even for real money anymore but for donuts! I want a refund please. You can't advertise a real money time limited purchase then offer it a few months later for a currency you can generate for free in the game i.e. donuts.I understand old event content returning in sales which is great, but NOT something that actually cost real money with a limited time only stamp on it. That's wrong.I suggest you remove Sven Golly from the black Friday deals as soon as possible or you will get a lot of angry customers like me who originally paid actual money for him. I bought Sven Golly too and I totally agree it's unfair for a character bought for money should be offered for donuts, especially so quickly. EA should refund all those who paid cash for this character. I'll also be thinking very carefully before buying any other characters offered for cash in the future.

I completely agree with you. I also purchased Sven Golly. At the time I thought it was a good deal. I love the Simpsons Tapped Out game. I have played it every day for years. I have invested a lot of real money into this game. I would like to see this game continue to thrive but the way that long term players and other players that also pay real money for this game are being treated is unfair. EA won't get people to purchase premium characters for real cash anymore if they continue to turn around and offer that same character later for in game currency. I am also going to complain directly to EA and request a refund as well.

It does kind of suck, but I liked the design of Sven and I need the donuts quickly when I bought it. So no use in crying over spilled milk I guess :/ whomp whomp

yea it sucks, EA sucks, voted worst company year after year for a reason. And that is actually a thing, it is constantly voted WORST COMPANY OF THE YEAR. No joke here, worst. The Worst. Nothing is more worse than them, they are the absolute WORST. Not just my words, pretty much everyone else's too. W. O. R. S. T. Google it, "EA Worst Company". The world has spoken. EA, if you can hear me, if some how these words are getting to you, you are the Worst.

This has got to be a joke thread right? You did NOT pay money for Sven. You PAID for donuts, those donuts came with a bonus character of Sven, which was limited for that event. It did not say this character would never be available in the game again. If you assumed that, tough luck. If that's the only reason why you bought those donuts, lesson learnt.

You guys are seriously acting like the money only went on the character, you got the donuts AND the character so quit your whining. I'm sure you've already spent the donuts you got anyways.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sympathetic to those of you upset over this, but come on, you had to have seen this coming. I wanted Sven Golly as much as the rest of you, but didn't feel like paying up $10 because I knew they release it later in a manner such as this. There's no way I'm the only one who saw this coming.

I paid for Sven also. Not too big of a deal. I paid for the circumstance that if it never came back. Glad others get to experience hypnosis now. But what does that say about the rest of the paid items they are doing?
