Darth Bane omicron refund, please

I'm afraid it won't happen. Even when they changed Omicrons they didn't refund them.

Probably not ... it does how ever feel alot like a bait and switch, since NO part of the omicron-part of his unique could have any effect on anything after Bane has died, so the line has baited a lot of people to put in on because the only logical way to look at it would be that the effects which apply to the other Sith would persist after Banes death.

I mean even if the description is faulty. The omicron is still better than most other good omicron.

I agree, and I would reapply in a heartbeat. However, as a matter of principle, this soon after a release, I think any kit change should be met with a refund.

True, but to erase a Leia or a LV that omicron is not necessary. And why would you put that last sentence in that spot? Nothing Omicron related goes to anybody but Bane himself. So persisting effects do not matter at all.

also, the omicron is a must to have, all the more reason to refund it since most players will end up applying it back or eventually will imo

The idea of "its so necessary its not worth refunding" isn't a good stance to take for CG because the players should have agency on deciding for themselves

You can beat LV and Leia without those juicy stat boosts? Mine would have died for sure without them. Sample size = 1

The “change” only applies in specific circumstances. Bane needs to die, but based on what people are seeing, that doesn’t happen very often with Rule Of Two active - mostly only with teams that can oneshot, like JMK CAT and Jabba. And if it’s a oneshot, it needs to hit Bane and not the other Sith.

From what people seem to be doing, Jabba is only hard to beat with SEE Bane because of current Datacrons, and CAT can also be stalled for a while until SEE can Ult and likely win anyway.

It’s annoying, especially to my current low-gear Bane circumstance because he can’t just slot in for Wat, and it overly affects SEE+Bane rather than Bane+1. And because I asked in the initial kit reveal and never got my answer (but that thread was antagonistic anyway).

But Bane’s buffs are so good it might not entirely matter.

The way I see it, the only people who are entitled to a refund: read the omicron text, saw that the benefits would apply to Bane himself only, was still not convinced the omi was worth it, and then was somehow sold by "persist after defeat".
