Does something trigger the new store items because under NEW it shows the not-new items Bonsai and Lard Lad Donuts? Homer is currently on a 12 hour task so I'll see in the a.m.

Is Homer on a task you can cancel? Think you need to complete the first few tasks to kick it off (they're really short tasks i.e. 45s, 3 minutes)

Any idea about friend visits? Should I do them or is it better to wait?

If you do them make sure to only tap in towns with the field placed. I got really weird results though from doing them today. I was able to visit 17 friends that paid out - way lower than normal. And it was only 1 event currency per tap.

Might be a good idea to wait.

Tstoaddicts has some info up. Playing tap ball with a neighbour counts as a friend action. If you play tap ball three times with a neighbour, you won't be able to tap fans in that town. This is why my results are messed up.

How do you get fans to appear in your town? I am to the tap ball matches and still no fans.
