Hmmm. So more Amateur Bucks as bonus if you upgrade the characters, but then, with a high star rating, will people avoid playing you? What do y'all think?
At this point I am doing the opposite, since the star bonus gives more bucks. I have been getting 22 bucks for losing to a 5 star town. Once I can beat three star towns then it would be the same as losing to 5 star towns.nissa762 wrote:

I think it's going to turn into a freemium vs premium battle, but at least the losing player will still get a payout for the visit, so it still helps if you pick a neighbour you're sure to win against.
Once everyone catches up, it seems the player who starts the battle will have the advantage if they have "brain & nerves" though.
lol. I've got some premium addicts as friends in my B-town. At least a dozen of them are already 5 star. The leader has won 40+ games! I just got to the point where I could have a match this morning. Maybe everyone will get to 5 stars soon and it will be a coin toss to see who wins. I'm thinking I want the extra amateur bucks.- I'd like to see neighbor (or at least forum) etiquette take hold where higher level players don't focus on lower level players to pad their stats. Or at least, spread it out. I've had one neighbor play me (and win) 4 times so far this morning. I'm down 4 losses before playing my first game of the day already!

What do you spend the Amateur Bucks on if not levelling up your players?ephphoneapps wrote:

This doesn't hurt you though, does it? I'm assuming that your players get to play when you are challenged without needing the 4 hour cool down. Hence the more matches you play from friends choosing you, the more currency you get, whether you lose or not.
As for the leaderboard, I'm use to not being at the top. :mrgreen:AOFIGO009 wrote:

You can spend them on the crafting part of the event menu. So far it's only stadium fences and juice to revive your players. Am gambling that something better will come out and having higher level players is a good idea.ephphoneapps wrote:

The stats don't matter, losing won't drop you on the leader board, only wins count there. Only you know how many games you've lost. When a neighbour defeats your town, you get event currency payout. They are helping you level up.
Keep in mind that the player also had to spend 4 donuts each game to revive their players, and they picked your town to spend it on. They do get a benefit, but you do as well. They could easily pick another town to send event currency to.direwolf987 wrote:

I have a question please......
Does sending players on other tasks preventthem taking part in a match? I dont want to try it yet since I am just starting the event. I could do with all characters earning amateur bucks while still playing matches :-)
Ta
Best I've found so far, no you can't have them do both, but so far they all have four hour tasks that gives four amateur bucks, and the cool down time is four hours, so there should be synergy there if you want it!
You can put your characters on any task you want and they will be able to play Tap Ball, even if they are busy doing another task.
Thanks, that is the answer to the question I came here to find :thumbup:Neglecterino wrote:
