Tapped Out app won't open at all

Just to add my experience to this. I had this crash at the Fox screen issue arise Weds night when I was buying donuts, as I was prompted to enter my Apple password to confirm the purchase. From then on, whenever I deleted and reinstalled the game, it would immediately go to the password prompt and crash upon my entry of the password. I have tried everything suggested, using my iPad 1 (iOS 5.0.1). Finally, I completely erased my iPad and reinstalled the game. The problem continued even after that. So I created a new apple i.d. on my wiped iPad and reinstalled the game there, and logged into my origin account. My game was there and everything seemed saved. However, the game continued to crash while playing. While my game was in limbo, I was playing with my wife's ipad3, and have had almost no crashes with that the past three days. Gme play has been excellent. So I have concluded that newer devices must run this updated game better.

Also, I emailed EA 4 days ago and still have no response.
