It reminded me of when I was in London years ago, back when you could still drink on the Tube. Some drunken American College Students (much like myself at the time), made up a Rap to "Mind the Gap". - Sweet! I know I wasn't the only one singing it out loud.

@johncolombo, here's another assignment for you. The FIRST song on this video -- Petula, of course -- needs a set of parody lyrics from you. It's from Ed Sullivan Show in 1966. I was 16. Those clothes bring back so many memories. I think they got those flowered pants, white leotard tights and that Mondrian-print dress straight out of my wardrobe closet. :)
Not sure if these fashion designs drove that generation to take drugs, or if the drugs drove that generation to wear clothes like this. (Gotta love the red Aston Martin, though.)
with Nancy Sinatra and Lulu? I'm all over that
LOL- I know the singers but not the song ( were those some of the village people in the background?, one dude lost his hat) so I have to listen to it for awhile to get a tapped out vibe, read the words as I transcribe etc...
- I'm no Irving Cohen, but needs work in rhyme and meter
"Gimme a C, a bouncy C..." :D - :)
