Yeh, 6secs a pop. I don’t even bother sending the rocket up anymore. The sense of failure I feel when it splutters is a real downer ?

I used to send the rocket up with the sound off and quickly move elsewhere on the screen so I wouldn’t have to know if the launch was successful or not because it disturbed me too much when it wasn’t. My dad was an aerospace engineer. Yes, this is just a game, but I can’t treat that part with it’s intended humor.

My problem is that I use some of the debris as "decoration" in my town (like at the recycle yard and tire fire areas), so I have to make sure that Lisa/Homer aren't anywhere near those areas when I put debris out for them to clean, and I also have to find a place where I can put out a bunch of debris all at once for them to clean to make it even moderately efficient. So, between those two issues, it can be too much of a pain in the you-know-what to get my accumulated debris cleaned. (Fortunately, I don't really need to do that for the donuts anymore....)

Think the idea is only Lisa cared to clean up the town and then the only other she could get involved was hommer. So Bart would seem the nex logical then Marge because she is getting left out of cleaning followed by Maggie because every other Simpson is doing it.

The trick to alleviating that sense of failure, is to create a scene where the burning rocket works for you. I run the take offs continually to try to get the bonus nukes, but i like this scene as a consolation prize when it doesn't launch:

I did the same with Lisa till hit 3K on my multiplier. Since then I use visual tasks almost all the time.

I'm at 2072% and feel like that's enough to keep me donut-independent. I'm aiming for a few more % so I can stash all the SH buildings and keep my % at 2000. Lisa has some cool tasks, it is a shame to keep her on that rope forever :)

2K is certainly enough to be independent. My original goal was to stop as 2500, and for some reason I kept going till 3K before I stopped. Im still at exactly 3000.01%, if I get an item with a multiplier then I store one of the many hidden items around town, Ive probably got close to 1000% in storage.

I'm getting to be the same way. Last week, when I finally got around to it, it took me 45 minutes to clean it all.
