@utrolia: Give them some time. They (EA) clearly states it is a known problem, in regards to iOS7. It takes time to make a huge fix for something like that.
In regards to Android, well... As a "fellow" Android user, I can reveal that Android has never been very stable. But if it is any consolation, the most unstability you'll experience happens just before and right after TSTO-updates launches. A few days afterwards, you'll only experience that the game kicks you out a few times daily.
Also, the Halloween fog and the haunting animations, although very cool, is impacting the stability quite a lot. It's also the cause of massive lag in big towns. I'm sure you are aware of most of this. But if you are unable to log in to your game at all in the coming weekend, using your Android device, something is clearly off...
By the way, I have a good experience with the EA customer service, but you have to be patient. The cases always auto-closes, but just keep sending mails, and eventually you'll get some help. For me it took about two weeks... Yes, that is considerable time, since my issue was a missing premium item (should be a lot faster to solve), but they solved it, and I was satisfied. I'm sure you'll eventually be satisfied as well, if you just hold on. If your issue would be espescially difficult to fix, you probably would get a nice amount of donuts and such (if you want it, or not, is another matter).
