The "Don't give me your gift bags" thread

No need for a thread, just don't collect the gift bags in your town and your friends will get a warning that they can't drop any more. :-)

Oh. Didn't think about that. Would that happen mainly because the gift boxes are animated and bounce around? Mine seems slow ever since the snow started falling. Heck, even those autumn leaves were a strain sometimes when it felt like things onscreen went soooooo slooowwww.

So maybe having forty bouncing little boxes could make it worse ...

NOTE TO OP: I had written "no bags" on my LZ last evening, but took it down immediately because I was afraid someone would interpret it as "help me! I have no bags!" and drop extras.

Don't give me any , either.

Gift bags? Is that still going on?

Heh, one of my other neighbors wrote out "no gift bags needed" and I totally dropped a few bags before I saw the "no" part of it :oops:


I think I'll start hoarding the gifts and arranging them in my park, around the 'holiday tree.' Or by Santa's workshop, which actually has a couple next to it already; I tried to arrange it so it looked like the reindeer was nibbling on a gift bag. Kind of wish I could hold on to a few as decorations.

Hey, that was me! Eventually, the "no" became covered with gift bags and my landing zone appeared to read as a request for more gift bags.

I thought of leaving the gift bags to accumulate, but since I have a number of neighbors with pretty low totals, I collect them so I have some to give out.

Thanks, Kandy. I stole your "Help Others" sign. No doubt "Others" will be covered and the message will appear to be a desperate cry for "Help."

I have put out a bunch of stop signs in my landing zone and am not collecting the bags. I open the boxes because I want to give bags out to those in need.
I just started this system today... So far ...we'll....still getting some bags :oops:

Yesterday I spelled out 'no bags' in flowers, then today I put stop signs around my LZ. I have gotten less gift bags. But I do like the idea of people putting candy canes or something as a sign so neighbors know if they need the gift bags. I deleted neighbors who hadn't tapped their bags (sorry former neighbors!!!) because I thought they were inactive.
