I actually like having different sections of my town, which is pretty much how the Springfield in the actual show is too. Biggest draw back is how much you have to move things around to make an actual section and not a strip mall with the way new land is slowly released. I don't really want another heights event, but I do wish they'd open up the rest of the room on the other side of the mountain to give us more to work with.
I do agree with the daily grind and slow down on the events though. I haven't been wild about the event interfaces since they really started tweaking things from the western event forward.
