My grandsons game just got the parson, he is somewhere near level 120, and last built spinster apts. He did it with limited (6) crafters and very limited access to play. I'm very pleased that EA made this event easy enough for even noobs to succeed.

@petehd14 mines parson has been cruising SH. Course my nessi has never hung out on the dirt either so....

Hi. Like a lot of us have done, I let act one expire. I wanted the parson, though, so I swallowed hard and bought him. All if his tasks are faded out. He will not start the first one with rev lovejoy. Am I not doing something?

You need the Rev free also.

As far as I know the only thing needed for the first task are Rev Lovejoy and The First Church of Springfield, the only other possibility that comes to mind is that due to you purchasing him and not starting to do the quest in act one maybe EA will have to release a patch to force the quests to begin.

I also believe that Flanders get in on the act too. Though he doesn't start the quest.
