- Silly question here, sorry - but what is this challenge? I have the monorail but never seen any challenges. Did you have to reach a certain level in the Monorail section, or am I missing something here?

You need the Rail Yard to produce tracks. If you look there is a prize track that is the same every week. It will pay out a limited number of rail tracks until you reach the end when you are awarded tracks and donuts.petehd14 wrote:

Thanks, I missed out on making this item :?- This week has been nothing but metal for me as well. Fortunately, I can usually finish in 48 hours.
My typical strategy is that after I get my 5 donuts, I run metal, plastic, and glass to within 5-10 points of maxing it out. Then, I wait for all characters for that item to free up and mass produce the item. That can take me to nearly double some of the soft-maximums and gives me a head start for the next week. This doesn't have to be done immediately since I usually have 4-5 days before the rail yard tasks reset. That gives me time to finish up the event tasks, if any.
I do agree, though, that the same characters being used repeatedly for rail yard, Springfield Heights, and events tends to get cumbersome. With these expansions and additional recurring events, we're going to need a project planning add-on to the game! - Act 2's requirements were really light. The current act's probably less difficult than Act 1, but a bit harder than Act 2.
- I've kept track of what it has asked for the last 8 times:
160 metal
155 metal + 400 trash
125 metal
800 trash
120 metal + 40 plastic
70 metal + trash (didn't write down amount)
1000 trash
120 metal
Has not requested glass at all so far this week, plastic just one time.
I'm usually done or close to it by this point in the week. Right now, I sit at 21,855 blueprints. I can't play all the time, so it's really out of hand. It takes me all day just to get back up to 160 metal.
Now that Act 3 has captured Mr. Burns for 12 hours, it's going REALLY slow.
