Yes, they disappeared eventually.

I have not been able to think of a better system than is there now for helping neighbors that would not allow whatever EA thinks is exploitation of feeder towns.

If we're only concerned about who is visiting, why not have a building that when you tap it, gives you a scrolling list of all the people that visited in the last 24 hours.
