THIS ^ It was fun for a while, but once the event becomes a grind and the lure of free donuts can't even compensate for it, it's time to put the event out to pasture. Or cane field. Or whatever. Please, EA, just release the update to the store. I can't imagine having to work around the event for another week.

the problem with EA making these events so long is that they're often similar..which means that users get bored of the entire event structure rather than a specific event

just watch, in a couple months there'll be another event where we squish something and send characters on tasks and visit neighbours to drop something into their town....will be the same thing as this event :x
