It does not take much to share some positivity with other people. I notice that far too many are too ready, willing and able to be as snarky as often as possible. THAT is annoying. Not some posts that might seem repetitive.
I see where your coming from, but now see it from our point of view, it can become annoying and make you go "ahh stuff it, why waste my time here", there are stickies to help MOST situations, but people don't like to use them for some reason. It becomes frustrating when a new or different thread is posted and it gets pushed down out of sight with hardly no views or replies due to repetative threads.
Honestly, though? I think that is the job of moderators to COMBINE repetitive threads? To clear that up as quickly as possible so other threads are not drowned out by them? People are just generally not into "searching through a whole forum" to possibly find the answer to their question either. A forum can easily become clogged with a bunch of baloney really, not just repetitive posts either. Moderators SHOULD be getting rid of offensive comments and "Goodnight" and "lol" posts too. Hell, they should get rid of this post too because it has NOTHING to do with "Game Discussion."
Earlier someone was kind enough to post a link to a thread for me about the Christmas tasks that I STRONGLY feel should be posted RIGHT HERE in the Game Discussion section of the forum...not in a more obscure or less visited area of the forum.
Seriously, I should run a forum because I would indeed run a tight ship instead of ALLOWING crapola to proliferate :lol:
